MENSAJE DE VIDA A TRAVÉS DEL COLOR Retrospectiva Virtual de Ana Broennimann

En la búsqueda de un descanso de las imágenes agresivas y dolorosas a las que estamos continuamente expuestos, encontré que, al mirar detenidamente los colores de las flores, los dobleces y texturas de las hojas, surgía una sensación de paz y alegría; pude así descubrir la armonía en lo más simple, lo extraordinario dentro de lo ordinario y el exquisito regalo de la naturaleza al hacer una pausa y observar las cosas sencillas donde se encuentra la belleza que cura el alma y los sentidos. He querido captar en mis cuadros esos profundos instantes con la esperanza de que el espectador se sienta tan reconfortado como me sentí yo, pues creo firmemente que el cambio viene desde el interior de cada uno y comienza con un momento pleno. Ambiciono que mi obra lo provoque.Selecciono detalles de la naturaleza que, al trasladarse al lienzo, crecen en dimensión. El espectador ve la imagen en el cuadro con la misma perspectiva de una mariposa. Pretendo que esa visión lleve a una apreciación de lo más simple y a la reflexión de lo pequeños que somos ante la grandeza del universo, el cual se encierra en la más diminuta flor.Quiero que mi arte reconforte, que ayude a alguien a sentirse mejor después de haberlo visto y a apreciar en toda su magnitud las maravillas que nos rodean; que deje en las personas una minúscula sensación de bienestar que se expanda como una gota de color en el agua.

Mi formación plástica la inicié con la  Licenciatura en Arquitectura en la Universidad La Salle  (ULSA), México. Posteriormente realicé un Posgrado en Arte Urbano con énfasis en Serigrafía en la  Academia de San Carlos de la Universidad  Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), cursé talleres de Acuarela y Dibujo al desnudo en San Francisco State Universiy  (SFSU),  College of Liberal & Creative Arts  en Estados Unidos. En Costa Rica estudié el Bachillerato en Pintura con énfasis en Acuarela en la Universidad Autónoma de Centro América (UACA). He participado en talleres de diversas técnicas artísticas como escultura, cerámica y grabado. Desarrollo profesional. 30 Exhibiciones en Galerías y Centros Culturales (colectivas e individuales). 12 Muestras Individuales en lugares públicos (hoteles, edificios gubernamentales, bancos). 8 Ferias de Arte . Colaboración en eventos culturales. He colaborado con la Embajada de Suiza en Costa Rica en la organización del grupo de artistas visuales denominado Fusión Suiza creado en 2010, que actualmente cuenta con 14 artistas de diversas disciplinas. Algunas de mis pinturas pertenecen a colecciones públicas como son las de Casa Presidencial de Costa Rica, Embajada Suiza, Galería Nacional, Residencia de la Embajada de México, hoteles Hilton Papagayo, Bougainvillea, Wyndham Garden, Costa Rica Country Club. Se han ilustrado con mis pinturas 8 calendarios (Grupo Britt, Punta Leona, Revista Estilos y Casas, Masterlitho, INCAP) y 3 colecciones de chales de seda.

In search of a break from the aggressive and painful images to which we are continually exposed, I found that, by looking carefully at the colors of the flowers, the folds and textures of the leaves, a feeling of peace and joy arose; In this way I was able to discover harmony in the simplest, the extraordinary within the ordinary and the exquisite gift of nature by pausing and observing the simple things where the beauty that heals the soul and the senses is found. I wanted to capture those deep moments in my paintings in the hope that the viewer will feel as comforted as I felt, since I firmly believe that change comes from within each one and begins with a full moment. I am ambitious for my work to provoke it. I select details from nature that, when transferred to the canvas, grow in dimension. The viewer sees the image in the painting with the same perspective of a butterfly. I intend that this vision leads to an appreciation of the simplest and to the reflection of how small we are in the face of the greatness of the universe, which is enclosed in the smallest flower. I want my art to comfort, to help someone feel better later having seen it and fully appreciate the wonders that surround us; that leaves a tiny sensation of well-being in people that spreads like a drop of color in the water.

I started my plastic training with a Bachelor of Architecture at La Salle University (ULSA), Mexico. Later, I did a Postgraduate in Urban Art with an emphasis on Screen Printing at the Academia de San Carlos of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), I studied Watercolor and Nude Drawing workshops at San Francisco State Universiy (SFSU), College of Liberal & Creative Arts in the United States. In Costa Rica I studied the Baccalaureate in Painting with an emphasis in Watercolor at the Autonomous University of Central America (UACA). I have participated in workshops of various artistic techniques such as sculpture, ceramics and engraving. Professional development. 30 Exhibitions in Galleries and Cultural Centers (collective and individual). 12 Individual Samples in public places (hotels, government buildings, banks). 8 Art Fairs. Collaboration in cultural events. I have collaborated with the Swiss Embassy in Costa Rica in the organization of the group of visual artists called Swiss Fusion created in 2010, which currently has 14 artists from various disciplines. Some of my paintings belong to public collections such as those of the Presidential House of Costa Rica, the Swiss Embassy, ​​the National Gallery, the Residence of the Embassy of Mexico, Hilton Papagayo hotels, Bougainvillea, Wyndham Garden, Costa Rica Country Club. 8 calendars (Grupo Britt, Punta Leona, Estilos y Casas Magazine, Masterlitho, INCAP) and 3 collections of silk shawls have been illustrated with my paintings.
